On 11 June 2014 the TalentNZ Menu of Initiatives publication and website were launched at a public event in Wellington. Over 100 people (including MPs, mayors and councillors) attended this event. Speakers included Sam Morgan (who launched the Menu), and the contributors to the 2013 TalentNZ Journal who each spoke for five minutes about one of the Menu’s 28 initiatives. Graeme Wong, whose video is featured below, spoke about building a curriculum fit for the future – the second initiative in the Grow category of the Menu.

Graeme is an investment manager, a director and board member of various companies, including Southern Capital Partners. He has held a number of high-profile roles in the forestry, agricultural and investment sectors. Currently based in Wellington, Graeme provides us with an example of a New Zealander who is working to increase this country’s overseas trade and investment relationships.
